AS you can see from my posts, I have been trying to upload the entire brochure with no success as the limit is 1MB.
Now, almost any brochure of event (conference, symposium or debate) has a bigger size than 1mb, mostly if we are talking about european events. Even if we zip the files.
Would it possible to increase this limit from a technological point of view?...meaning will the platform support it?
To the group i ask.... is it something desirable?
I think so .... but wanted to hear your opinion.

Size is dependant on volume
The size of the uploads is a default setting that can be easily changed but it does have an impact on server performance if lots of people are uploading large files.

Yes, it looks good but my concern is that in order to upload that image i had to:
download the brichure file
take a pic of the first page of the brochure
cut and paste it and save on jpg format
upload the image on the platform
and finally "get the link for the download and cut and paste it on the platform"
As you can see... the process is quite cumbersome and i don´t know if our LSH scientists and academics and SME people will have the time and to do that.
Just uploading the brochure would be easier i guess.

on one hand its nice to see
on one hand its nice to see the picture. on the other hand why not provide a link to the conference itself and keep ourselves "lighter". The last one that you posted "with the intentional mistake ;-)" looks very nice. All you need is to provide a link to those people who want to learn more in-depth on this conference and that's it.
