This international meeting is the most important in the field of limb development, and regeneration and provides a biennial forum for leading researchers from around the world to present their experimental advances, discuss hypotheses and models, exchange information and establish collaborations. The development of the vertebrate limb is a classic model system in embryology, and its study has made important contributions to our understanding of fundamental biological processes, above all the cellular interactions underlying the formation of organs.
