I'm writing an animated guide for people new to Spidera. It's not meant to cover everything one can do: it's more of a Getting Started thing.

Does anyone have comments on what I should include/exclude? In particular:

  • What did you find confusing when you first started?
  • What do you consider to be the most useful features?

Time constraints may limit what can be done, so I may not be able to include everyone's opinions!

I found the account-related

I found the account-related functionalities like (blog, inbox ..) trivial
However from my point of view the discussion functionalities needs some help

Carol,

I'd say the most imporant things are to:

1. the purpose of social networking 

2. how to "listen" to what others are saying

3. how to "talk" to other people

 I'll be sure to include this fundamental info as well as answering the basic "How do I...?" and "What is a...?" questions.
