Yoram LEV-YEHUDI ("YLY") is Managing Director of Beacon Tech (see more below) and
co-founder. He holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with
specialty in corporate finance and information technology, and a B.Sc.
degree in exact sciences, both from Tel-Aviv University.

Prior to establishing Beacon Tech Ltd., YLY acted as the Head of IT
Department at an Israeli-based agency for European Framework Programmes.
YLY has experience in EU-Funded projects management. YLY was the
Scientific Director of projects IST-Mentor (IST-2001-34841) and
TRISTAN-EAST (IST-2001-37676). In this framework YLY has also drafted
many project proposals.

Until 2001 YLY worked in Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (NASDAQ:MGIC).
In his last position there he served as Director of International
Business Development. In this role YLY gained experience with
e-Business, Customer Relationship Management and Mergers and
Acquisitions of technology firms. Before this position YLY managed the
Quality Assurance department of Magic Software, consisting of 42
people, half of them in Israel and the rest in India. In this framework
YLY initiated and managed EU project ECReM (IST-1999-10734) in the area
of Electronic Customer Relationship Management.

YLY has also hands-on experience as technical manager, QA and automated
testing methods, team leader and programmer. He has published several
articles in the area of Automatic Software Qualification (ASQ), as part
of an EU funded Process Improvement Experiment (Esprit/PIE MAGICIAN
#23690).

YLY is also serving as an independent evaluator of the Israeli Office
of Chief Scientist (OCS). The Israeli OCS grants each fiscal year ca.
EUR 300 Million to Israeli-based firms that are performing innovative
R&D. In this framework YLY assesses and evaluates Information
Systems R&D proposals requesting conditional grants.

Based in Tel-Aviv, Beacon Techis
a small enterprise active primarily as a liaison between Israel and
Europe. The company focuses on providing Innovation Management services
to its clients, technology-oriented and innovation-driven firms. These
services include: obtaining R&D co-financing, locating strategic

The founders of the company have a cumulative experience of over 40
years in the technology business in Israel, Europe, and the U.S. and in
the Far East. BTL personnel have gained previous experience in EU
funded projects since 1997, the year which Israel had first signed the
association agreement. Therefore they have seen the evolution of the
framework programmes since FP4 (ESSI/ESPRIT), through FP5, FP6 and now
FP7.
